| Spanish abstract | El tema enunciado, describe la aplicación de la magnetometría aérea en la prospección mineral, haciendo referencia a los inicios de su utilización en México, trata el análisis para la selección de anomalías con potencial de estar asociadas a concentraciones de minerales magné- ticos como la magnetita, la pirrotita o la ilmenita y también cuando la magnetometría aérea es aplicada a la detección de cuerpos rocosos que están o pueden estar asociados espacial y/o genéticamente a minerales no magnéticos de interés económico. Se describe la práctica de la verificación geológica de las anomalías aeromagnéticas seleccionadas para un objetivo de exploración dado y los factores que afectan su eficiencia, así como de algunas condiciones que ayudan a optimizar resultados del trabajo de campo |
| English abstract | The subject describes the aplication of aeromagnetometry for mineral prospecting referring to its initial utilization in Mexico as well as the factors to be analyzed in the selection of anomalies with potential association to concentrations of magnetic minerals, like magnetite, pirrotite or ilmenite , as well as when that method is applied to the detection of rock structures that are ore could be spatialy or geneticaly associatiated with non magnetic minerals of economic interest.- The subject also refers to the practice of the geological verification of the selected aeromagnetic anomalies for mineral prospecting as well as the factors involved in its efficiency and the conditions related to obtain the best possible results of the field job |
