| Spanish abstract | El presente trabajo responde al interés por el tema del espacio público seguro en los hábitats residenciales al considerarlo como elemento fundamental en la conformación de los mismos. Partimos de un panorama general sobre el espacio y la ciudad, donde refrescamos el tema de la segregación que minimiza la coincidencia de los grupos sociales en los espacios urbanos. El presente análisis destaca el pensamiento sobre el hábitat residencial, ámbito condicionante de vida y lugar de soporte y significación. Complementamos con la revisión del tema del espacio público seguro , que es articulador del hábitat r esidencial y, en cuanto lugar de encuentro y relaciones , debe ser defendido por sus habitantes, punto final de disertación en la presente exploración |
| English abstract | This paper responds to the concern over the handling of the topic of safe public space in residential habitats: this element is critical in shaping it. We start with an overview of the space and the city where we refreshed the issue of minimizing the overlap segregation of social groups in the spaces of the city. This analysis highlights the t hinking about residential space conceived as residential habitat, space conditioning of life and place of support and significance. The review of public space as safe to be defended by its inhabitants is the end of this exploration dissertation |
