Resumen en inglés | The necessity to reduce printed boards have induced manufacturers to develop new integrated circuits featuring thousands of gates, allowing users to interconnect them for specific aplications; in this way, FPGA is the most accepted technology, because its low cost for low volumes, that permits to generate aplications with instant simulation. This matter has notably modified digital systems teaching, obligating curricula to integrate more options on circuits design; theory will be the same, but praxis will be modified not only by the various tools for design but cause of the architectures offered nowadays; everything previously metioned becomes more compromising due to the very drastical changes of high technology, which added to the delays associated with the integration of this changes along the teching-learning process can leave the education in engieering behind in a very short time in the Latin American countries. This work presents the experience using such devices in an autoequipment program in the computer field at tha IPN, where 2200 microcomputers were produced using 8088 to 80486 microprocessors, with designs performed and manufacturated at the CINTEC |
