Resumen en español | La presente investigación describe el proceso que se realiza para llevar a cabo las adaptaciones curriculares, en la asignatura de matemática para el alumnado que presenta algún tipo de necesidad educativa especial transitoria. Se ha considerado la coordinación existente entre docentes de Matemática y de Educación Diferencial, como acción promotora de las adaptaciones curriculares. La metodología utilizada corresponde a la cualitativa con un enfoque fenomenológico, y la principal técnica de recolección de datos fue la entrevista semiestructurada, participantes de este estudio fueron 10 docentes de 2 instituciones educativas con programa de integración. Los principales hallazgos arrojan que profesorado y personal encargados del Programa de Integración Escolar cumplen con las normativas y requerimientosdel Decreto Nº 1701 en relación con las adaptaciones curriculares, pero dicho cumplimiento está sujeto a la informalidad en la articulación y planificación debido a la falta de tiempo y recursos disponibles. De este modo, como conclusión se plantea que existe una necesidad constante de adaptaciones curriculares, pues son un mecanismo que permite lograr la individualización de la enseñanza, mejorando la calidad de vida y la educación especial en Chile. |
Resumen en inglés | This research describes the process that is performed to carry out curriculum adaptations in the mathematics course for students who showed some type of temporary special education need. The existing coordination between mathematics and special needs' teachers, as promoter action of the curricular adaptations, has been considered. The methodology used relates to qualitative with a phenomenological approach, and the main data collection technique was the semi-structured interview. In this study, ten teachers of two educational institutions featuring an integration program participated. The main findings show that faculty and responsible staff of the School Integration Program comply with the regulations and requirements of the Decree # 1702in relation to curricular adaptations, but such compliance is subject to informality in the articulation and planning due to lack of time and resources available. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a constant need for curriculum adaptations since these are a mechanism which allows the individualization of education, improving quality of life and special education in Chile |
