| Resumen en inglés | The text analyses the Right of the Consumer, clearly established in the Constitution of 1988 and regulated by the Code of the Consumer. It deals with right of an efficient dispatched judgment invoking the principles of efficiency celerity and of a reasonable duration of the process as required by the Constitutional Amendments 19/98 and 45/2004. It analyses the performance of the Supreme Federal Court and of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) in relation to the materialization of the above principles. It gives special attention to the performance of the CNJ in the control of the effectiveness of the rights of the consumers |
| Resumen en portugués | O texto analisa o Direito do Consumidor, expressamente previsto na Constituição de 1988 e regulado pelo Código do Consumidor. Trata do direito à prestação jurisdicional eficiente e célere, invocando os princípios da eficiência e celeridade e da razoável duração do processo, introduzidos pelas EC 19/98 e EC 45/2004. Analisa a atuação do Supremo Tribunal Federal e a do Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) com relação à concretização desses princípios. Dá especial revelo à atuação do CNJ em defesa da efetividade dos direitos dos consumidores |
