| Resumen en español | Neste texto, refletimos acerca do currículo oficial que foi negociado em julho de 1995, na Argentina, no marco da Reforma levada a cabo pela Lei Federal de Educação de 1992. Naquela ocasião, um grupo de técnicos do Ministério da Educação renunciou a seus cargos, inconformados com os resultados que a pressão das igrejas teve sobre o governo de Menem. A trabalhosa negociação que pretendia definir os conteúdos escolares com a participação de distintos setores da sociedade civil foi abruptamente abalada pela pressão das cúpulas eclesiásticas. A partir de então, alguns conteúdos, tais como, a teoria da evolução de Darwin, o conceito de gênero entre outros, foram eliminados do currículo oficial. Desde 2006 a Argentina conta com uma nova Lei de Educação e perguntamos se não voltaram a triunfar as idéias ultramontanas |
| Resumen en inglés | In this article we reflect about the official curriculum which was negotiated in Argentina, in July 1995, in the context of the new educational reform carried out by the Federal Law of Education (1992). In that period, a group of technicians of the Ministry of Education resigned since they were discontent with the results of the pressure of the churches to the Menen’s government. The hard negotiation process which intended to select the school contents with the participations of the civil society was abruptly affected by the pressure of the ecclesiastic authorities. Depart from that, some contents such as Darwin ’s theory of evolution, the concept of gender and other, were eliminated of the official curriculum. Since 2006, there is a new Education Law in Argentina and we ask if the ultramontane ideas are not coming back to triumph |
