| Resumen en español | El estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar patrones emocionales en los significados que asigna a su labor científica el investigador humanista. El interés se centró en la idea de que las características emocionales son claves en la ocupación de investigador. En un enfoque fenomenológico, apoyado en la hermenéutica y etnografía, fueron utilizadas grabaciones de campo, entrevistas en profundidad y observación no participante; los datos se analizaron mediante el Método Comparativo Continuo de Glaser y Strauss (1967), generando una teoría propia acerca del fenómeno. Los hallazgos develan que amor y tristeza emergieron como emociones propias de los entrevistados, la primera como reacción emotiva expresada en la labor de investigación y en la pasión que les produce, mientras la tristeza resulta de una evaluación cognitiva negativa de la manera como otros “investigadores” hacen su trabajo o la decepción ante obstáculos que pueden encontrarse en el camino y que coartan sus objetivos |
| Resumen en inglés | The study aimed to identify emotional patterns in the meanings attached to their scientific researcher humanist. Interest is focused on the idea that the emotional characteristics are key in humanist researcher. On a phenomenological approach, supported by hermeneutics and ethnography, were used field recordings, in-depth interviews and participant observation; data were analyzed by the Comparative Method Continuous Glaser and Strauss (1967), generating a theory about the phenomenon itself. The findings reveal that love and sadness emotions emerged as characteristic of those interviewed, the first emotional reaction as expressed in the research and the passion that produces them, while the sadness is a negative cognitive appraisal of how others researchers do their job or disappointment with obstacles they may encounter along the way and hindering your goals |
