| Resumen en español | La telenovela es ese tipo de relato que refleja el /ser-estar/ y /hacer/ de la vida cotidiana, con hondas y viejas raíces arquetípicas en el teatro griego, pero que al mismo tiempo es objeto de transformación y resemantización que cautiva a millones de telespectadores. Cabe preguntarse entonces: ¿en dónde radica ese tipo de “fascinación” y de “seducción” que ejerce sobre su teleaudiencia? Partiendo de esta interrogante se plantea como objetivo analizar la incidencia de los antecedentes teatrales de la telenovela en su construcción como discurso, estudio que se realiza en función de la sintagmática, la paradigmática y la intertextualidad presentes en la telenovela clásica, la transnacionalizada y la latinoamericana. La investigación permite deducir que la telenovela se caracteriza por su redundancia inter e intra-episódica, “suspense” y fragmentación, variables que intervienen en la producción de un producto audiovisual final que hace soñar, produce expectativas y es válvula de escape emocional |
| Resumen en inglés | The soap opera is the kind of story that reflects the being and the doing of daily life with deep and ancient archetypal roots in the Greek theatre; at the same time, it is the object of a transformation and re-semanticizing that captivates millions of TV viewers. Therefore, one may ask wherein lies the “fascination” and “seduction” it exerts on its TV audience? The objective proposed for this study is to analyze the effects of the theatrical antecedents in soap operas on their construction as discourse, a study that is performed in function of the syntagmatics, the paradigmatics and the inter-textuality present in classic, transnational and Latin American TV soap operas. This research makes it possible to deduce that soap operas are characterized by inter and intra-episodic redundancy, “suspense” and fragmentation. These variables intervene in producing a final audiovisual product that causes the viewer to dream, produces expectation and is an emotional escape valve |
