| Spanish abstract | Este artículo se propone analizar la construcción de representaciones sociales que migrantes senegaleses, arribados a la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA) entre los años 1995 y 2014, producen respecto a la sociedad de acogida. Para ello, en primer lugar caracteriza al colectivo migrante, las condiciones de salida, así como las condiciones "objetivas" de recepción que la ciudad les ofrece. En segundo, analiza las estrategias que emplean para sortear las dificultades con que se encuentran, para finalmente estudiar las representaciones, divididas en dos tropos, "diferencias culturales" y "discriminación-racismo" |
| English abstract | This article analyzes the construction of social representations produced by Senegalese migrants who arrived in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) between 1995 and 2014 about the host society. To this end, it characterizes the migrant group, the conditions in which they left their country of origin and the "objective" conditions of reception the city offers. Then analyzes the strategies used to overcome the difficulties they encounter; lastly, it studies the representations, divided into two tropes, "cultural differences" and "discrimination-racism" |
