| Resumen en español | En el presente trabajo se hace un acercamiento a la novela de Luis Mateo Díez, El reino de Celama, para ver el papel que tiene la memoria en su configuración. Para ello, las tres novelas de las que se compone El reino… (El espíritu del páramo, La ruina del cielo y El oscurecer) se analizan tomando en cuenta la presencia constante de la literatura oral en la escritura, la fragmentación del relato, el recuerdo y, obviamente, la memoria. Las teorías de otros investigadores, así como las propias reflexiones metaliterarias y literarias de Díez, permiten ir asentando el funcionamiento de la memoria en esta novela. Con la misma intención, hay aproximaciones a otras obras que se configuran de manera similar, pues el espejeo de espacios, funciones y personajes también arroja luz al concepto que aquí se analiza como configurador de mundo |
| Resumen en inglés | In the present work, a close look is taken of Luis Mateo Díez novel, El reino de Celama, in order to observe the role memory plays in its configuration. The three novels that comprise El reino... (El espíritu del páramo, La ruina del cielo and El oscurecer) are analyzed, taking into account the constant presence of oral literature in the writing, the fragmentation of the story, the remembrance and, obviously, the memory. Other investigators' theories, as well as Díez' own metaliterary and literary reflections, allow the functioning of the memory in this novel to settle. With the same intention, there are approximations to other works that are configured in a similar manner, since the mirroring of spaces, functions and characters also shed light on the the concept that is analyzed here as configurer of the world |
