| Resumen en español | La teología en la academia se desarrolla con criterios técnicos que le dan su estatuto científico. El objetivo de este estudio es mostrar las oportunidades y desafíos que esto presenta a la ciencia teológica. Se destaca, de una parte, la necesidad de reconfigurar el constructo epistémico de la teología y, de otra parte, el mantenimiento de la originalidad y especificidad del saber de fe. El método de investigación es el análisis de cómo la teología en la academia mantiene o fragiliza elementos como la fe, la afirmación de lo trascendente, la eclesialidad, el compromiso en el mundo, el pueblo como sujeto teológico o la praxis. Se concluye que, solo asegurando esos elementos, la teología se afirma como tal entre las demás ciencias, constituyéndose como un saber aplicable a las situaciones teóricas y prácticas de la humanidad |
| Resumen en inglés | Theology in the academy is developed according to technical criteria that give it scientific status. The aim of this study is to explore the opportunities and challenges that this presents for theological science. On the one hand, there is the need to reconfigure the epistemic construct of theology, and, on the other, the importance of maintaining the originality and specificity of faith as a field of knowledge. The research method is the analysis of how theology in the academy maintains or weakens such elements as faith, the affirmation of the transcendent, ecclesiality, engagement in the world, the people as theological subject, and praxis. The conclusion is that only by ensuring these elements can theology in the academy assert itself as such among the other sciences, constituting itself as a field of knowledge applicable to the theoretical and practical situations of humanity |
