| Resumen en español | Vivimos tiempos de incertidumbre y crisis, por ello, también de retos y oportunidades. Los cambios vertiginosos nos asoman a un mundo desconocido y complejo y nos estamos quedando sin seguridades ni convicciones. De la duda como método para construir un mundo de certezas, pasamos a la duda como única certeza. Sin absolutos ni ideales, los seres humanos nos estamos refugiando en la trivialidad de las cosas. El mundo se ha transformado en una cosa repleta de cosas y el propio ser humano se está transformando en una cosa, una mercancía, que se usa, compra y vende. El tener se impone sobre el ser y las cosas determinan el valor de las personas. Impera el relativismo ético en que cada uno decide qué es bueno y qué es malo, qué se puede hacer y qué no se puede hacer. Para tener todo es lícito y crece pujante la violencia y las economías subterráneas del secuestro, el sicariato, la corrupción, el tráfico de armas y de drogas. Lo peor es que nos estamos acostumbrando a considerar como normal este mundo tan anormal, y la propia fe y la religión parecen desangeladas, sin espíritu, que ya no invitan a cambiar de vida, sino a encontrar consuelo en esta vida tan mediocre. La crisis actual se expresa con fuerza en la grave crisis de las instituciones tradicionales de socialización de los jóvenes: la familia y la educación. Los padres han renunciado a su papel de primeros y principales educadores de sus hijos, y la ruptura y superación de la familia tradicional hace que los niños y jóvenes crezcan solos, frente al televisor y los aparatos electrónicos que son hoy los principales educadores de los jóvenes. La televisión está acabando con la infancia y al mismo tiempo infantiliza a los adultos, les impide su maduración. Por otra parte, banaliza la violencia y crea adicción a ella. | Resumen en inglés | We live times of crisis and uncertainty, for that reason, challenges and opportunities too. The big changes put us in an unknown and complex world and we have left just insecurities and convictions. From doubt as method to build a world of certainty, we got to the doubt as only certain. Without ideals, the human beings are taking refuge in trivial things. The world has turned in a thing full of stuff and the own human being has turned in a thing, merchandise that you use, buy and sell. To have it’s imposed on the being and things that determinate the value of people. Prevail the ethic relativism that every one decides what’s good and what’s wrong, what it can be done and what not. For have all that, it’s fair and grow the violence and the underground economies of kidnapping, the hired assassin, corruption, weapon’s traffic and drugs. The worst is that we use to it and considerate as normal this freak world, and the own faith and religion seem without spirit, that don’t invite to change life, but to find a relief in this mediocre life. The actual crisis expresses itself with force in the big crisis of traditional institutions of youth socialization: family and education. Parents have quitted to their role of first and principal teachers of their children, and the break and overcoming of traditional families make that kids and adolescents grow up alone, in front of TV and electronic devices which are today the principal teachers of youth. The TV is finishing with childhood and at the same time adults get childish, they can’t grow up. In other side, trivialize the violence and create addiction to it. The technology medias are replacing the personal meeting for virtual meetings and young people use to live in an imaginary world, without too much contact with reality that make depress them.
