| Resumen en inglés | Framed within the History of the ideas, the History of philosophy has been typically an exercise of the Historical doxography of Thought, sometimes presenting vast continuities, some other times looking for ruptures and singulari- ties. Such an exercise has its unobjectionable merits, but also its limits. Precisely there, where the strategic singularity of a philosophy as a system of thought is tried to be appraised, is where the doxographic shape of knowledge history finds its most evident limitations, since they find scarcely accesible what per- forms the thought under the archive shape. In contrast with the History of ideas, the foucaultian archaeology of knowledge allows to analyze thought on its strategic shape and from its archive. What has been searched for in this essay is an archaeological analysis of medieval and reinassance thought that we call "premodern" and its archive form has been conceptualized as "exegetic thought" |
| Resumen en español | Encuadrada dentro de la historia de las ideas, la historia de la filosofía ha sido típicamente un ejercicio de doxografía histórica del pensamiento, a veces con continuidades vastas, otras, en busca de rupturas y singularidades. Un ejercicio semejante tiene sus méritos inobjetables, pero también sus límites. Precisamente ahí, donde se trata de apreciar la singularidad estratégica de una filosofía como sistema de pensamiento, la forma doxográfica de la historia del saber encuentra sus limitaciones más evidentes, lo que efectúa al pensamiento bajo la forma archivo resulta escasamente accesible. En contraste con la historia de las ideas, la arqueología del saber foucaultiana permite analizar el pensamiento en su forma estratégica y desde su archivo. En este ensayo se ha procurado un análisis arqueológico del pensamiento medieval y renacentista al cual llamamos "premoderno" y cuya forma archivo conceptualizamos como "pensamiento exegético". |
