| Resumen en español | En el presente trabajo se analiza el problema de la representación en la filosofía de Kant y de Nietzsche a partir de la clave del como si («als ob»), siguiendo las lecturas que han hecho Derrida respecto a Kant, y Vaihinger respecto a Nietzsche. La lectura de Derrida, se concentra en la discusión sobre la Universidad sin Condición y sobre la “democracia por venir”, en las cuales destaca la manera en que el como si desafía la distinción clásica entre juicios constatativos y performativos, y de manera más radical, la distinción entre naturaleza y libertad. Vaihinger reconoce en la filosofía de Nietzsche, los orígenes de una “metafísica del como si”. Dicha figura, aparece estrechamente vinculada a la idea de “voluntad de ilusión”, en cuanto la ilusión es el como si. El problema fundamental que se plantea refiere a las posibilidades que abre el como si para la filosofía y la ciencia en general. Frente a ciertos peligros que comprometen tanto la “vida del espíritu” como la vida del ser humano mismo, una posible solución la ofrece la noción derridiana de lo auto-inmune, al entender el como si (la necesidad de la ilusión) como un mecanismo auto-inmunológico propio de la razón |
| Resumen en inglés | This article analyzes the problem of representation in Kant and Nietzsche’s philosophy emphasizing the as if («als ob») notion and following Derrida’s reading of Kant and Vaihinger’s reading of Nietzsche. Based on The University without Condition by Derrida and the “democracy to come” discussion, the article highlights the way in which the as if challenges the classical distinction between constatative and performative judgements, and -in a more radical way- the distinction between nature and freedom. The article also explores Vaihinger’s argument that it is possi-ble to recognize an “as if metaphysics” in Nietzsche’s philosophy. The as if appearclosely related to the idea of a “will to illusion”, as the illusion is itself the as if. The main problem that this article discusses refers to the possibilities opened by the as if for philosophy and for science in general. Among these possibilities there are risks that involve both the “life of spirit” and the human life itself. A possibility to face these risks may be found on Derrida’s notion of the “autoimmune”, given that the as if (the necessity of illusion) may be understood as a reason’s autoimmunity mechanism |
