| Resumen en inglés | The article covers David Ausubel's concepts of meaningful learning and its interference in learning as a cognitive construction, in addition to its influence in the field of information literacy. The method used in this study was the explanatory qualitative research, with an interpretive and critical view, of the analyzed works. The research offers a reflection on the theoretical framework in order to bring benefits to professional practice in relation to the development of information literacy. Among the results obtained, it is possible to show that the action and program for the development of informational skills will have greater success with the inclusion of the basic elements of meaningful learning. It is concluded that, for Ausubel, the subject already has a history, which is the basis for significant learning. The professional must be attentive when intervening, taking into account the formation of the individual's cognitive structure, bringing important contributions to different areas of knowledge, especially in the field of information literacy |
| Resumen en portugués | O artigo abrange os conceitos da aprendizagem significativa de David Ausubel e a sua interferência na aprendizagem enquanto construção cognitiva, além de sua influência no campo da Competência em Informação. O método utilizado no presente estudo foi a pesquisa qualitativa explicativa, com visão interpretativa e crítica, das obras analisadas. A pesquisa oferece uma reflexão sobre o referencial teórico, a fim de trazer benefícios para a prática profissional em relação ao desenvolvimento da Competência em Informação. Dentre os resultados obtidos é possível evidenciar que, a ação e o programa de desenvolvimento de habilidades informacionais terão maior sucesso com a inserção dos elementos basilar da aprendizagem significativa. Conclui-se que, para Ausubel, o sujeito já tem uma história, sendo esta a base para uma aprendizagem significativa. O profissional deve estar atento ao fazer uma intervenção, levando em consideração a formação da estrutura cognitiva do indivíduo, trazendo importantes contribuições para diversas áreas do conhecimento, principalmente, para o campo da Competência em Informação |
