| Resumen en español | Existe en la actualidad una cantidad significativa de áreas intervenidas en la ciudad de León, destinadas a vivienda de interés social en las que se puede verificar la ausencia de espacios que permitan una mejor y más eficiente relación de comunidad no solo dentro de sí sino en sus puntos de contacto con el entorno circundante. Por otra parte, el crecimiento desmedido de la mancha urbana y una falta de planificación y control en los modelos de crecimiento han provocado una sistemática fragmentación del espacio público en la ciudad. Esta rotura en el tejido físico, implica también un deterioro en su tejido social si entendemos que el soporte de las relaciones que nutren y dan existencia a la vida comunitaria en las ciudades, son los espacios de convivencia, de cruce de las diferentes realidades que hacen que una comunidad con sus caracteres se exprese como tal. Son lugares de soporte de nuestra cotidianeidad y que aseguran también otras propiedades vitales como la seguridad, la pertenencia y la identidad. Las repercusiones que esta problemática tiene en la calidad de vida de sus habitantes es una realidad que es necesario conocer desde el estudio de sus síntomas e interpretarlos para poder proponer posibles soluciones. Hablar del concepto de "tejido" es, en sí mismo, una toma de posición en el abordaje de los problemas que aquejan a muchas ciudades latinoamericanas. Es la escala necesaria a tener en cuenta cuando se pretende realizar un análisis sobre aspectos más generales como el de segregación espacial, fragmentación física, expansión urbana o dispersión. | Resumen en inglés | There is now a significant amount of logged areas in the city of Leon, intended for social housing in which you can verify the absence of spaces that enable better and more efficient relationship community not only within themselves but in their points of contact with the surrounding environment. Moreover, the excessive growth of urban sprawl and a lack of planning and controlmodels of growth have led to a systematic fragmentation of public space in the city. This break in the physical fabric, also implies a deterioration in the social fabric if we understand that support and nurture the relationships that give meaning to community life in cities, are living spaces, the crossing of different realities that make a community to express their character as such. They are places support our everyday life and other properties that ensure vital as security, belonging and identity. The impact that this problem has on the quality of life of its inhabitants is a reality that we need to know from the study of their symptoms and to interpret, the possible solutions. Discuss the concept of "tissue" is, in itself, a stance in addressing the problems faced by many Latin American cities. Is the scale necessary to consider when trying to perform an analysis on more general aspects such as spatial segregation, physical fragmentation, urban sprawl or dispersion.
