| Resumen en inglés | Andina started production during second half of 1995, and its third panel underground mine. Mining method employed is called Panel Caving, and this mine has two areas of operation. Eastern side uses the Grizzly system, and the western side uses the LHD system to fill ore passes, that end at the hydraulic chutes located at Haulage level. This is a unique haulage level where hydraulic chutes load 50 ton diesel trucks, chutes are operated from the cabin of trucks via remote control, only those chutes schedule in daily program of extraction, will be activated from Operating control room. A description of the haulage and transport system is presented, as well as the experience obtained along its operation |
