Resumen en inglés | The study compares the performance of two different kinds of agglomeration binders, inorganic binder (bentonite) and an organic binder of commercial use on the iron ore pellet structure, with this goal fou distinct samples of iron ore concentrate, from different Brazilian mines were studied. Pellets made in laboratory pelletizing disc were tested. The characterization included simple compression of green dried pellets and fired pellet at 350 oC, wet knock test, and shock temperatures. From the obtained results its possible conclude that the organic binder cinpared with inorganic, presente better results |
