| Resumen en español | En 2019 se cumplieron 100 años del nacimiento del Partido Comunista Mexicano (PCM), esto llevó a una intensa discusión sobre el lugar de aquella ideología política en el transcurso del siglo XX mexicano. Este texto explora algunos de los recovecos más importantes de lo acontecido alrededor del centenario comunista, destacando una operación de relectura de la historia en donde se trazan líneas de continuidad muy específicas. Frente a las categorizaciones de nostalgia o melancolía se elige la de “contra-memoria”, que figura en distintos niveles de la forma en la que se entiende el papel del PCM en México y más allá de él |
| Resumen en inglés | In 2019 it was 100 years since the birth of the Mexican Communist Party (PCM), this led to an intense discussion about the place of that political ideology in the course of the Mexican 20th century. This text explores some of the most important nooks and crannies of what happened around the Communist centenary, highlighting an operation of rereading history where very specific lines of continuity are drawn. Faced with the categorizations of nostalgia or melancholy, the one of "counter-memory" is chosen, which appears at different levels of the way in which the role of the PCM is understood in Mexico and beyond |
