| Resumen en inglés | This work clears up points of the north-American Vannervar Bush´s text and makes some considerations concerning the paternity given to him in relation to hypertext. Bush and his article “As we may think” are frequently quoted in studies involving the hypertext. In general, works whose themes are the new media and new literacy, consider Bush as the father of the original idea of the hypertext. It is concluded that the worries to register human knowledge and the willing to let ready the linking among sets of information are not twentieth centuries´ ideas. It might be more appropriate to say that such a willing came true more convincingly in the 1900 years |
| Resumen en portugués | Esclarece pontos do texto do pesquisador norte-americano Vannevar Bush e relativiza a paternidade atribuída a ele em relação ao hipertexto. Bush e seu artigo intitulado “As we may think” são freqüentemente citados quando se trata de estudos sobre o hipertexto. Em geral, os trabalhos que têm novas mídias e novos letramentos como tema atribuem a Bush a idéia original sobre o hipertexto. Conclui que a preocupação com o registro do conhecimento humano e a vontade de deixar as interligações entre informações já prontas não são idéias nascidas no século XX. Pode ser mais apropriado dizer que elas se realizaram de maneira mais convincente nos anos 1900 |
