| Resumen en inglés | The National Reforesting Company-Falcón is conducting a series of programs directed to the rescue of certain areas showing a great level of environmental damage. This situation led to a strategic research to analyze the administrative performance of this company in the Falcón state, in order to identify the critical spots needing intervention, which would allow improving its effectiveness. The methodology used consists of a strategic analysis supported by the application of a values chain and scenery construction scheme framed by a descriptive - explicative study, through the application of questionnaires to collect the data. This brought to the conclusion of three basic elements in the research. First on an inside level CONARE shows a poor degree of integration of the regional and central management, the employees do not relate to the corporative philosophy mostly due to the constant personnel changes. Also there is a high quality standard in the productive process and the technical staff showing a high competitiveness. On an outside level stands out the great demand of environmental services on the state and the constant restricted budget and resources to develop these programs. Finally following these affirmations the most feasible scenery for CONARE is that of the Shared Scenery which would greatly improve its competitiveness |
