| Resumen en español | El autor reflexiona sobre las posibilidades que ofrece el desarrollo como concepto teórico–práctico capaz de permitir a los pueblos latinoamericanos superar la actual transición del neoliberalismo a la sociedad del siglo XXI que empieza a emerger. Esto exige reconceptualizar el desarrollo considerando las condiciones de la globalización y, sobre todo, remontándose a las formulaciones teóricas sobre América Latina y a su desarrollo histórico. Así, la hipótesis del trabajo consiste en considerar que las teorizaciones de los pensadores latinoamericanos han respondido siempre a la necesidad de encontrar los caminos de la transformación social, de ahí que el desarrollo – entendido a veces como progreso y otras como cambio social–, pueda considerarse como uno de los conceptos articuladores del pensamiento latinoamericano |
| Resumen en inglés | The author reflects on the possibilities that the development like theoretical-practical concept capable of allowing the Latin American towns to surpass the present transition of the neoliberalism to the society of the century XXI that begins to emerge. This demands to re-conceptualize the development considering the conditions of the globalization and, mainly, going back to the theoretical formulations on Latin America and to their historical development. Thus, the hypothesis of the work consists of considering that the theorizations of the Latin American thinkers have responded, always, to the necessity to find the ways of the social transformation, for that reason the development –understood sometimes like progress and others like change of articles of incorporation–, can be considered like one of the articulators concepts of the Latin American thought |
