| Resumen en español | El desarrollo de la producción agroalimentaria que garantice la soberanía alimentaria y la sustitución de importaciones, es un reto declarado en la política agroindustrial de Cuba en el contexto de actualiza-ción del modelo económico y social. Los egresados de Agronomía deben realizar una gestión eficiente en los sistemas de producción agropecuaria y propi-ciar el incremento de alimentos y materias primas re-queridos por la sociedad. El presente artículo realiza un análisis del modelo profesional y plan de estudio del ingeniero agrónomo y de las contribuciones de los estudios sociales rurales. La sociología del cono-cimiento es la estrategia teórico metodológica que conduce a una reflexión que incita a diversos pro-fesionales a contribuir a la formación integral de lo agrónomos y al desarrollo rural sustentable. Se pre-sentan tres aspectos que permiten la incorporación de la perspectiva social al desarrollo agropecuario sostenible y la interacción de los diferentes acto-res locales vinculados a los agroecosistemas con los estratos de dirección, productivos y sociales: el enfoque sectorial de lo rural/agrario vs. urbano; los conocimientos sobre las transformaciones agrarias y los contenidos de las disciplinas de ciencias so-ciales que tributan al perfil del agrónomo |
| Resumen en inglés | The development of the food-processing production that guarantees the food sovereignty and the substi-tution of imports is a challenge declared in the agro industrial policies of Cuba in the context of update of the economic and social model. The graduates of Agronomy must realize an efficient management in the systems of agricultural production and to pro-pitiate the increase of food and raw materials nee-ded by the society. The present article performs an analysis of the professional model and plan of study of the agricultural engineer and of the contributions of the field of the social rural studies. The sociology of the knowledge is the theoretical methodological strategy that leads to a reflection that incites diverse professionals to contribute to the integral formation of agronomists and to the rural sustainable develo-pment. They show up three aspects that allow the incorporation from the social perspective to the agri-cultural sustainable development and the interaction of the local different actors linked to the agro ecosys-tems with the management, productive and social strata: the sectorial approach of the rural / agrarian vs. urban; the knowledge about agricultural transfor-mations and the contents of the disciplines of social sciences that pay the agronomist’s profile |
