| Resumen en inglés | This article attempts to clarify and discuss the relations between Modern Artand the Artistic Alterity of the Negro Africa. The intent is to show how one ofthe points of rupture of several occidental artists, which can be classified asmoderns, was precisely a new posture in relation to the Imaginary and to theArt of the other peoples, included here the art of the Negro peoples from desub-saarian Africa. The essays aboard more specifically the several lectures ofthe alterities referent to the Negro Africa the were successively developed bythe Modern Art since the beginning of the twenty century to the 1960 years,showing how, working with these lectures, the modern occidental artists hadsuccess in recreate his own art |
| Resumen en portugués | Este artigo busca esclarecer e discutir as relações entre a arte moderna e aalteridade artística da África negra. Mostra-se como um dos pontos de rupturade toda uma série de artistas ocidentais, que já podem ser classificados comomodernos. Foi precisamente uma nova postura com relação à arte de outrospovos, o que inclui a arte dos povos negros da África Subsaariana. O textoaborda mais especificamente as várias leituras das alteridades oriundas da Áfricanegra, que foram sucessivamente empreendidas pela arte moderna, desde oinício do século XX até os anos 1960, demonstrando como, a partir dessasleituras, os modernos artistas ocidentais conseguiram recriar a sua própria arte |
