| Resumen en español | El presente trabajo, constituye un aporte al estudio de los factores morales relacionados con la ética en la investigación; temática de gran relevancia y vigencia debido a su influencia en el campo de las ciencias humanas, área del conocimiento que, evidentemente, incluye el estudio y observancia de principios éticos que asignen a lo humano la dimensión real de su pensar reflexivo, su quehacer y sus manifestaciones de vida compartida. Dentro de las cualidades que ha de forjar al investigador se encuentran algunos valores que a fines del siglo XX aun no se han manifestado en amplios sectores del mundo occidental; entre las que se mencionan la humildad, sobriedad y austeridad, frente al avance que han tenido la ciencia y la investigación en el mundo moderno, requieren reflexionar acerca de los límites que deben tenerse en cuenta al hacer ciencia |
| Resumen en inglés | This article is a contribution to the study of moral factors related to ethics in research, a theme of great relevance and actuality due to its influence in the field of human sciences, an area that evidently includes study and observation of the ethical principles which give the human being the real dimension of his reflective thought, his tasks and manifestations of shared life. Among the qualities researchers should develop are some values that have not yet been manifested in many sectors of the western world at the end of the XX century. Among these are humility, sobriety and austerity in the face of the advances that science and research have made in the modern world, which require reflection regarding the limits that must be considered when doing science |
