| Resumen en español | El calentamiento global (CG) es uno de los problemas ambientales con mayores impactos negativos sobre los ecosistemas naturales y artificiales. El objetivo de esta investigación fue describir el conocimiento y la percepción que tiene el estudiantado del bachillerato sobre el CG, con la finalidad de que este tipo de investigaciones den pauta para que las autoridades y el profesorado establezcan estrategias y cambios en los programas educativos de diferentes programas formativos. La investigación se desarrolla en el marco de la metodología cualitativa, recurriendo al método descriptivo. Se aplicaron un total de 85 cuestionarios con preguntas abiertas y cerradas en tres grupos del cuarto semestre que hubieran cursado la materia de Ecología en el año 2014 en el Centro de Bachillerato Tecnológico Industrial y de Servicios (CBTis 212) de Tetla de la Solidaridad, Tlaxcala. Se encontró que el estudiantado tiene un conocimiento de la temática, pero está consciente que no es suficiente, esto debido a que el personal docente no está capacitado y preparado para impartir a profundidad este tópico. Se concluye que cuando el estudiantado percibe un ambiente desagradable, esto puede influir para que se sensibilice y concientice para cuidar y realizar acciones para mitigar el deterioro ambiental |
| Resumen en inglés | Global warming (GW) is one of the biggest environmental problems with negative impacts on natural and artificial ecosystems. The objective ofthis research was to describe the knowledge and perception of the high school students on the GW, in order that such researches might be guidelines for authorities and teachers for establishing strategies and changes in educational programs on different training programs. The research is conducted within the framework of qualitative methodology, using the descriptive method. A total of 85 questionnaires were applied with open and closed questions in three groups of fourth semester who had taken the subject of Ecology in 2014 at the Center for Industrial Technological Baccalaureate and Services (CBTis 212) of Tetla of Solidaridad, Tlaxcala. We found that the students have knowledge on the subject, but there is also awareness that this not enough, this is because the staff is not well trained and prepared to teach in depth regarding this topic. We conclude that when the students perceive an unpleasant environment, this might influence for them to become sensitized and conscientious to care and take action to mitigate the environmental degradation |
