| Resumen en español | El presente trabajo se centra en el estudio de la Dataría Apostólica Romana y su influencia en la tramitación y concesión de las dispensas matrimoniales en España. Aunque son diversas las aportaciones realizadas por parte de la historiografía internacional, aún quedan muchas cuestiones por resolver. La diversa legislación matrimonial y su evolución quedará marcada por la actuación de esta institución romana en diversos momentos, sobre todo en los siglos XVIII y XIX. Nuestro objetivo es proporcionar respuesta a una institución de gran relevancia en la obtención y validación de las dispensas matrimoniales. Al mismo tiempo, indagar en la conflictividad generada en esta institución, durante el Antiguo Régimen. Para ello se ha empleado distinta documentación procedente del Archivo Secreto Vaticano y Archivos y bibliotecas españolas |
| Resumen en inglés | This paper focuses on the study of the Roman Apostolic Dataria and its influence on the processing and granting of marriage dispensations in Spain. Although various contributions made by the international historiography, there are still many unresolved issues. The diverse matrimonial law and its evolution will be marked by the performance of this Roman institution at various times, especially in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Our goal is to provide response to an institution of great importance in obtaining and validation of marriage dispensations. At the same time, investigate the conflict generated in this institution during the Old Regime. For it have been used different documents from the Vatican Secret Archives and Archives and Spanish libraries |
