| Resumen en inglés | The objective of the research is to analyze the relationship between leadership and quality of care to the communities in the Directorate of Intelligence and Preventive Strategies of the CPEZ. As a theoretical construct to support research (Koontz and Weihrich-2004), quality of service (Gabaldon, 2010), security (Barnard, 2006) and policecommunity (Rodriguez, 2007). The investigation was confined to a description Of field, with a non-experimental-transversal design, having as population the staff that works in the institution (100 officials) to whom an instrument was applied. Based on 14 items with response alternatives under the Likert Scale with five reagents. The techniques of observation, interview, questionnaire, conversations and content analysis were used. |
| Resumen en español | El objetivo de la investigación es analizar la relación entre liderazgo y calidad de atención a las comunidades en la Dirección de Inteligencia y Estrategias Preventivas del CPEZ. Teniendo como constructos teóricos para sustentar la investigación el liderazgo (Koontz y Weihrich-2005), calidad de servicio (Gabaldón, 2010), seguridad (Bass y Avolio, 2006) y policía-comunidad (Rodríguez, 2007). La investigación se circunscribió a una descripción de campo, con un diseño no experimental-transversal, teniendo como población el personal que labora en la institución (100 funcionarios) a los cuales se les aplicó un instrumento en base a 14 Ítems con alternativas de respuesta bajo la Escala Likert con cinco reactivos. Se utilizaron las técnicas de observación, la entrevista, el cuestionario, conversaciones y el análisis de contenido. |
