| Resumen en español | El artículo se centra en la necesidad de la nueva escuela venezolana de formar el valor solidaridad, muy vinculado a la generosidad y el colectivismo, el que es fuertemente atacado por la oposición política dueña de la mayoría de los medios de comunicación en Venezuela, por ello es imperioso que los docentes ejerzan la solidaridad como práctica cotidiana, tanto entre sí, como con sus estudiantes. Se sustenta en la nueva Ley Orgánica de Educación, la que promueve la necesaria formación de valores por parte de los profesionales de la educación, y la solidaridad constituye un eje transversal. ABSTRACTThe Venezuelan society is involved in building up the socialism of XXI century. This requires a new look at formation of values, that leads the assumption of suitable values of socialism which are actual universal human values. All this values are supported on human relationships and among them we find solidarity which is very closely related to generosity and collectivism. These values are strongly attacked by the political opposition who is the owner of most of the media in our country. Therefore, is of paramount importance that practitioners keep an eye opened and provide the best manifestations of solidarity between teachers and students. In order to carry out this article we have to support and seek in the daily practice the formation and development of the best human feelings of our teachers. It will bring about a better teacher´s performance on their professional activity and will also benefit the students on the quality of the educative process and their wholesome formation for life.KEY WORDS: values, socialism, solidarity, collectivism |
