| Resumen en español | Se revisa un grupo poblacional del mundo insular de las zonas australes de Chile, en la región de Aysén. Escasean los estudios antropológicos o sociológicos sobre la presencia de mapuche williche (mapuche del sur), quienes emprendieron ahí una migración temporal o permanente. Tampoco existen trabajos en torno a género en ese grupo insular. El primer objetivo pretende dar una aproximación analítica sobre esta presencia desde un ángulo de género con el que el autor evaluará la importancia de las mujeres williche en el grupo insular Gala. Recurrirá al concepto de feminismo sui generis. El segundo propósito se refiere al componente identitario, al que el grupo analizado añade el componente étnico en una región que está alejada del territorio ancestral williche |
| Resumen en inglés | This is a look at a population group on the island world of the far-southern zones of Chile, the Aysén region. There are few anthropological or sociological studies on the presence of Mapuche Williche (southern Mapuche) who undertook temporary or permanent migration there. Nor are there many studies on gender in this island group. The first objective is to take an analytical approach to this presence from the point of view of gender, with which the author evaluates the importance of Williche women in the Gala island group. I will turn to the sui generis concept of feminism. The second objective refers to the identity component, to which the group analyzed adds the ethnic component in a region far from the ancestral Williche territory |
