Resumen en inglés | From immemorial times the breast-feeding is mentioned like only and the ideal one for the feeding of humans. The alternative practices in infantile feeding are related to social, cultural, ethnic-racial and economic factors. The artifi cial feeding of suckling babies has writings from century XVII. Improvements of the neurological development, prevention of allergic processes of the childhood, prevention of acute infections (gastrointestinal, urinary, otitis, pneumonia, bacteremia, meningitis) and chronicles (hypertension, Crohn’s disease, colitis ulcerative, diabetes, obesity. ateroesclerosis, cancer).
