| Resumen en español | Este artículo tuvo como objetivo analizar el cumplimiento de la responsabilidad social en las instituciones universitarias y el rol del estudiante en su condición de ser adulto. Este estudio se justifica ante las constantes amenazas de acciones irregulares, que adversan el proceso de socialización, por lo que la Universidad como ente formadora de seres humanos críticos, reflexivos, imaginativos y productivos, a fin de lograr una mejor convivencia y cultura de paz, pone en práctica La Ley de Servicio Comunitario del Estudiante de Educación Superior (2005) y da cumplimiento a la Responsabilidad Social. La investigación se ubicó en un nivel comprensivo, de tipo hermenéutico descriptivo. Se realizó un análisis teórico y fundamentado en investigaciones anteriores de las acciones que guían el deber ser de la responsabilidad social universitaria y el rol del estudiante. Como reflexiones y aportes se tiene que la Universidad Privada Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín ocupa un lugar importante en la sociedad, pues contribuye con la generación de profesionales en el campo de la ciencia y la tecnología y al mismo tiempo, ese egresado, por sus características de ser adulto y la aplicación del componente axiológico contribuye con el desarrollo de la sociedad y cultura de paz |
| Resumen en inglés | The aim of this article was to analyze compliance with social responsibility in university institutions and the role of the student in his/her condition as an adult. This study justifies itself in the light of the constant threats of irregular actions that oppose the process of socialization for which the University, as an entity that trains critical, reflective, imaginative and productive beings to achieve better coexistence and a culture of peace, puts into practice The Law of Community Service for Higher Educations Students (2005) and complies with social responsibility. The research was located on a comprehensive level and is of the descriptive, hermeneutic type. A theoretical analysis was made based on previous research about actions that guide what “ought to be” about university social responsibility and the role of the student. As reflections and contributions, the study holds that the Private University Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín occupies an important place in society, since it contributes to generating professionals in the fields of science and technology; at the same time, its graduate, due to his/her characteristics as an adult and application of the axiological component, contributes to the development of society and a culture of peace |
