| Resumen en inglés | This essay aims to demonstrate the growing interest developed in Italy, especially in the last twenty years, in the works and philosophical perspectives of the most relevant Mexican thinkers of the 20th century. The intention is to reconstruct the evolution of the historiographical debate in relation to the interest in the thought and the legacy of the exiles (transterrados) who arrived in Mexico in the 1930s, due to the very strong interest in Italy since the 1980s, towards the philosophical speculation of Ortega y Gasset. Our observation is aimed at analyzing the path that has been rediscovered in Italy, with a strong southern imprint, the great themes of Mexican philosophy, characterizing it as a specifically autochthonous phenomenon. It is evidenced two-way prosperous exchange between European historicism and the Italian –in particular– and the Mexican historical-philosophical research, which during the 20th century has assigned Mexico and all of Latin America as a subject of inquiry. In this way, an attempt is made to evaluate the weight of the reading, from the translations from Spanish to Italian, and the conditions of Crocian and Gramscian historicism. Finally, we must not forget that the Italian discovery (or rediscovery) of Mexican philosophy of the last century has occurred due to the dissemination, and success in the peninsula of philosophy reinterpreted by intercultural reading. |
| Resumen en español | El objetivo de este ensayo es evidenciar el creciente interés desarrollado en Italia, sobre todo en los últimos veinte años, en las obras y perspectivas filosóficas de los más relevantes pensadores mexicanos del siglo XX. Se pretende reconstruir la evolución del debate historiográfico en relación con el interés por el pensamiento y el legado de los transterrados que llegaron a México en la década de 1930, por el muy fuerte interés en Italia, desde los años 1980, hacia la especulación filosófica de Ortega y Gasset. Nuestra observación se dirige a analizar el camino que ha redescubierto en Italia, con una enérgica huella meridional, los grandes temas de la filosofía mexicana, caracterizándola como fenómeno específicamente autóctono. Se evidencia el intercambio, bidireccional y próspero, entre el historicismo europeo –y el italiano, en particular– y la investigación histórico-filosófica mexicana, que durante el siglo XX ha asignado como sujeto de indagación a México y toda Iberoamérica. De esta manera, se intenta evaluar el peso de la lectura, desde las traducciones del castellano al italiano, y los condicionantes del historicismo crociano y gramsciano. Finalmente, no hay que olvidar que el descubrimiento (o redescubrimiento) italiano de la filosofía mexicana del siglo pasado se ha dado por la difusión y el éxito en la península de la filosofía reinterpretada por la lectura intercultural. |
