| Resumen en español | La sexualidad del paciente con cáncer, ha sido poco estudiada a nivel mundial, más limitada es la información en México, principalmente porque aún sigue siendo un tema tabú; sin embargo, es uno de los aspectos de gran preocupación para el paciente con cáncer, que por vergüenza, pena, temor y/o falta de información, les resulta difícil de abordar. Se presentan datos de un estudio piloto con 38 pacientes atendidos en el Instituto Nacional de Cancerología de México con diferentes diagnósticos de cáncer en tratamiento con quimioterapia. El objetivo del estudio fue identificar las disfunciones sexuales posquimioterapia en los pacientes con cáncer, y determinar la frecuencia de las mismas. | Resumen en inglés | The sexuality of the cancer patients, has been shigtly studied worldwide; more limited it is the information in Mexico, because still it continues being a topic taboo principally, nevertheless it is one of the aspects of great worry for the patient with cancer that for shame, a sorrow, dread and/or be absent of information, it turns out him difficult to approach. In the present article same information check that the literature offers respect to the alterations and dysfunctions of the sexuality in the oncological patients and present information of a pilot study will 38 patients with diagnosis of cancer in treatment with chemotherapy in the INCan of Mexico with the aim to identify to sexual dysfunctions in this population and to determine the frequency of the same ones. In addition same recommendations are mentioned for the evaluation and integral treatment of the patient with cancer in the sphere of his sexuality |
