| Resumen en inglés | This historical-fictional romance deals with the dream, implantation, and destruction of the French colony in the bay of Guanabara, Brazil, between 1555 and 1565. Villegagnon, Thévet, Jean de Léry and pastors Richer and Chartier are real characters who witnessed the first Reformed worship service in the Americas, and were part of a real story. Just, Colombe, and other characters were invented by the author’s imagination in order to illustrate the personal searches and discoveries in the context of the discovery and construction of the new world by the French in Brazil. The Huguenot martyrs Pierre Bourdon, Matthieu Verneuil, and Jean de Bourdel sealed with their blood this attempt to establish the Antarctic France as part of the Reformed conceptual vision |

Villegagnon, Thévet, Jean de Léry e os pastores Richer e Chartier são personagens verdadeiros que presenciaram o primeiro culto reformado em toda a América, e fizeram parte da história real. Just, Colombe e outros são personagens da imaginação do autor para ilustrar as buscas e descobertas pessoais no contexto da descoberta e construção do novo mundo por franceses no Brasil.
