Resumen en inglés | The brevity of the Pascual Ortiz Rubio government and its submission to the plans of General Plutarco Elías Calles are generally mentioned by revolutionary historiography, but rather little has been deepened in the facts that led to the rupture of the modus vivendi offered by his predecessor to the Catholic Church and that accelerated its resignation to the presidency. This article presents some little known facts about the events that originated, first, the crisis of the end of 1931 and, later, the ruin of the Ortiz Rubio administration |
