| Resumen en español | Este artículo plantea que la vida y obra de Nellie Campobello están divididas por límites porosos y que la indefinición entre una y otra enriquece a la segunda. Para dar cuenta de ello se analiza la ambigüedad de las voces narratoriales que emplea la autora en Cartucho y Las manos de mamá, así como las transgresiones de género y de géneros literarios en estas obras. A la vez se examinan las ambivalencias entre infancia y barbarie, oralidad y escritura, vida y muerte que caracterizan estos libros y los recursos mediante los cuales se logran |
| Resumen en inglés | In this article we argue that the life and works of Nellie Campobello are divided by porous limits and that the indefinition between one and the other enriches the latter. In order to explain this, we analyze the ambiguity of the narratorial voices that the author employs, in Cartucho and Las manos de mamá, along with the transgressions of gender and of literary genres in these works. At the same time we examine the ambivalences between infancy and barbarity, orality and writing and life and death which characterize these books and the resources with which they are achieved |
