| Resumen en inglés | This article aims to highlight the role of linguistic structures in the creation of reports more prototypical. Therefore, we analyzed the linguistic processes of this genre in text productions required in the university’s entrance examination. This investigation follows the line of Decat (2008) and brings a set of ideas that subvert the order established by theorists and scholars of the textual and/or speech genres, since these ideas endorse the study of the degrees of commitment to the linguistic structures of texts. Thus, form-function, assuming that the principle of the form is an effect of the function, were analyzed in the texts, due the fact that the socialcommunicative function of the genre is consider essential for the linguistic choices made by language users |
| Resumen en portugués | Este artigo propõe evidenciar o papel das estruturas linguísticas na produção de relatos mais prototípicos. Foram analisados, para isso, os processos linguísticos desse gênero em produções de texto cobrado em exame vestibular. Essa investigação segue a linha de Decat (2008) e traz um conjunto de ideias que subvertem a ordem estabelecida por teóricos e estudiosos dos gêneros textuais e/ou discursivos, pelo fato de essas ideias defenderem o estudo dos graus de comprometimento com as estruturas linguísticas dos textos. Assim, forma-função, partindo do princípio de que a forma é efeito da função, foram analisadas nos textos, pelo fato de considerar a função sociocomunicativa do gênero indispensável para as escolhas linguísticas realizadas pelos usuários da língua |
