| Resumen en inglés | The central question that moves the proposal contained in this article is to identify, select and concatenate epistemological references present in the ethnographies that make up the book “Anthropology in the margins of the state”, from the interpretative and analytical work applied to the book. The aim is to organize references these references for a presentation that combines both the elucidation of important theoretical and methodological parameters that are discussed in eminent book, as in particular offering an interpretation that may contribute to some extent, to think about the role of margins, today, not as a mere consequence of government administrations, but especially illuminating its capacity for action |
| Resumen en portugués | A questão central que move a proposta contida neste artigo é identificar, selecionar e concatenar referências epistemológicas presentes nas etnografias que compõem o livro Anthropology in the margins of the state, a partir do trabalho interpretativo e analítico aplicado à obra. Visa-se, a partir disso, organizar tais referências numa proposta de apresentação que conjuga tanto a elucidação de parâmetros teórico-metodológicos importantes que são discutidos no eminente livro, como, em especial, o oferecimento de uma interpretação que possa contribuir, em alguma medida, para se pensar o papel das margens, na atualidade, não como mero apêndice das administrações governamentais, mas, sobretudo, iluminando seu papel de agência.
