| Resumen en inglés | This research aims to find and compare the presence of cultural and entertainment journalism in the newspaper Panorama. We compared the informative weight and treatment that is given to both. While it is difficult to make an accurate conceptualization of cultural journalism, for the work is regarded as a complex journalistic specialization, which reports on the subjects of arts and literature, popular culture and thematic fields resulting therefrom, with the purpose of educating and promoting the various artistic and cultural manifestations of human beings. For the study are used observation, quantitative content analysis of broadcast media, particularly the measurement hemerographic and interviews to key sources. We conclude that: 1) Panorama information obtained weighing nearly balanced. 2) The paper does not delimit the specializations. 3) Most cases are informative and transculturized. 5) cultural journalism dedicates more space to foreign arts than to regional popular culture. 7) The purpose of the show is to entertain and create buzz |
