| Resumen en español | Tras algunas reflexiones sobre la validez definitiva de una traducción, en este ensayo se hacen algunas observaciones sobre algunos elementos del texto de la Odisea. Son observaciones personales, pero no en el sentido de que el ensayista sea el primero en hablar de dichos elementos, sino en la manera en que los ve, y en la forma en que lo afectan en la fijación del texto. En concreto, aquí se habla un poco de los siguientes temas: ayudando a Homero; el hexámetro: el metro del poema; las fórmulas y versos que se repiten; intenciones retóricas y estilísticas; el textema y los escrúpulos de los redactores |
| Resumen en inglés | After some brief considerations concerning the definite validity of a translation, in this essay some reflections are made in relation to certain elements in the text of Homer's Oddissey. These are personal considerations, not in the sense that the author of the essay is the first one to speak about such elements, but in the way he sees them, and in the fashion in which they affect text fixation. Specifically, the following subjects are addressed: helping Homer, the hexameter: the meter of the poem; recurrent verses and formulas; rhetorical and stylistic intentions, the textema and the writers'scruples |
