| Resumen en inglés | The eschatological turning in the twentieth century by the liberal Protestant theology brought a challenge to the Catolic theology regarding the topic eschatology. The Primitive Church in the first two centuries considered the end of the world and the return of Chist eminent, and made the announcement about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the tird century, Irineu of Lion arises with the terms: Recapitulate and fulfillmente of the history in Christ. The fourth century contemplates the reveille of the trinitarian controversies, in which the Cappadocian Fathers are important in the creation of the language. The text develops a theological understanding of eschatology cappadocia giving relevance to the nissena contributions. It does a brief explanation of the thought of Basil of Caesarea, and Gregory Nazianzus concerning eschatology and then develops eschatological aspect of the thought of Gregory of Nyssa |
| Resumen en portugués | A virada escatológica no século XX, por parte da Teologia Protestante Liberal, trouxe um desafio à Teologia Católica no que se refere ao tema escatologia. A Igreja Primitiva, nos dois primeiros séculos, considerava o fim do mundo e o retorno de Cristo eminentes, e fazia o anúncio da Ressurreição de Jesus Cristo. No III século, Irineu de Lion aparece com os termos: Recapitulação e cumprimento da História em Cristo. O século IV contempla o alvorecer das controvérsias trinitárias, no qual os padres capadócios são importantes na criação da linguagem. O texto desenvolve uma compreensão teológica sobre a escatologia capadócia, dando relevância às contribuições nissenas. Faz-se uma breve explicitação do pensamento de Basílio de Cesareia e Gregório Nazianzeno concernente à escatologia e, em seguida, desenvolve-se os aspectos escatológicos do pensamento de Gregório de Nissa |
