| Resumen en inglés | The article offers some reflections regarding the elements of what has been called “Witness Literature” (the strict bound between history and real world; the indissociability of the author, narrator and character; the collective dimension of the account; the supremacy of the ethical over the aesthetic etc.) and how these elements function in poetic texts with humorous devices. As a practical illustration, analysis of poetic texts by Alex Polari, Glauco Mattoso, Jocenir and Leila Míccolis will be undertaken, expounding the delicate intimacy between the witnessing of pain and the humorous verse |
| Resumen en portugués | O artigo se propõe a indicar alguns traços da chamada “literatura de testemunho” (como o vínculo estreito com a história e o mundo real; a indissociabilidade entre autor, narrador e personagem; a dimensão coletiva do relato; a supremacia do caráter ético sobre o estético etc.) e como eles funcionam diante de textos poéticos em que o humor esteja presente. Como ilustração prática, seguem-se análises breves de poemas de Alex Polari, Glauco Mattoso, Jocenir e Leila Míccolis, mostrando a delicada convivência, no poema, entre o testemunho da dor e o verso com humor |
