| Resumen en inglés | The objective of this work was to evaluate the potential of gamma, log-normal and Weibull distributions modeling of monthly precipitation in the city of Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul. We used a series of monthly rainfall from January 2001 to December 2011. Adherence to the distributions of rainfall conditions was verified using the Kolmogorov-Sminorv test. The three distributions were adherent. However, the results indicated that the gamma model fit better rainfall conditions in the city of Bento Gonçalves |
