| Resumen en inglés | The human rights achievements regarding the LGBT population are under constant threat by the socio-politicalreligious imbrication that makes it difficult to concretize a secular and democratic state. That population experiences various forms of discrimination and violence that negatively influence the life quality as a whole. Therefore, the bioethics can be a significant instrument of reflection that calls for intervention in the political-social context. However, it would not be any bioethics aspect because, in its origin, it also shared a sexist and chauvinist logic that for a long time directed its look from a heteronormative, patriarchal and cisnormative perspective. The feminist bioethics, with a revolutionary and critical ideal, is being built as a theoretical-practical apparatus that proposes to break exclusionary standards and focus on people in vulnerable situations. Thus, the article’s objective is to reflect how the feminist bioethics can contribute to the LGBT movements when they become articulated and allies, and they also leverage each other by using a critical literature review. Both movements share striking features such as the fight against gender inequality and the breakdown of exclusionary social standards, and also, the emphasis on citizenship’s discourse as a strategy to conquer the universality of rights. The feminist bioethics has a firm theoretical and critical basis for ethical issues of everyday life that can and should be used to assist in the conquest of LGBT people’s rights, and also contributing to a more decent, just and ethical society. It is possible to understand that the rapprochement between feminist bioethics and LGBT movements could be a way to promote legitimacy and mutual empowerment |
| Resumen en portugués | As conquistas dos direitos humanos referentes à população LGBT encontram-se em constante ameaça pelo embricamento sócio-político-religioso que dificulta a concretização de um estado laico e democrático. Esta população vivencia diversas formas de discriminação e violência que influenciam negativamente a qualidade de vida como um todo. Neste contexto, a bioética pode ser um importante instrumento de reflexão que convoca à intervenção no âmbito políticossocial. Porém, não seria qualquer vertente da bioética, pois, em sua origem, também compartilhou de uma lógica sexista, machista que por muito tempo direcionou seu olhar a partir de uma perspectiva heteronormativa, patriarcal e cisnormativa. Com um ideal revolucionário e crítico, a bioética feminista vem sendo construída como um aparato teóricoprático que propõe a quebra de padrões excludentes, dando foco a pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade. Sendo assim, por meio de uma revisão crítica da literatura, buscou-se analisar como a bioética crítica de inspiração feminista e os movimentos LGBTs podem ser articulados e aliados, a fim de promover um empoderamento e fortalecimento mútuo. Ambos movimentos compartilham características marcantes como a luta contra a desigualdade de gênero e pela quebra de padrões sociais excludentes, e a ênfase no discurso da cidadania como uma estratégia para conquista da universalidade de direitos. A Bioética Feminista é provida de uma firme base teórica crítica para questões éticas do cotidiano, que pode e deve ser utilizada para auxiliar na conquista dos direitos da população LGBT, contribuindo também para uma sociedade mais digna, justa e mais ética. Entende-se que a aproximação entre a Bioética Feminista e os movimentos LGBT seria um modo de promover legitimidade e empoderamento mútuo |
