| Resumen en inglés | Under the influence of the “linguistic turn”, around the last decades of the twentieth century, the project (or projects) of an Intellectual History in Latin America was based mainly on the criticism and the rupture with the “old” tradition of the Latin American History of Ideas. The goal of this article is relativize this sense of “rupture”, demonstrating how, amid the methodological reform proposals within the Latin American movement of the History of Ideas in the mid-1970s, some pillars that would later support the diverse perspectives an intellectual history in Latin America already were present, particularly in the contributions of the Argentinian philosopher and historian of ideas Arturo Andres Roig (1922-2012) |
| Resumen en portugués | Sob a influência do “giro linguístico”, em torno das últimas décadas do século XX, o projeto (ou os projetos) de uma História Intelectual na América Latina se baseou principalmente na crítica e na ruptura com a “velha” tradição da História das Ideias latino-americana. O objetivo deste artigo é relativizar tal sentido de “ruptura”, demonstrando como, em meio às reformas metodológicas propostas no âmbito do movimento latino-americano de História das Ideias, em meados da década de 1970, alguns pilares que iriam posteriormente sustentar as diversas perspectivas de uma História Intelectual na América Latina já se encontravam presentes, sobretudo, nas contribuições do filósofo e historiador das ideias argentino Arturo Andrés Roig (1922- 2012) |
