| Resumen en español | La variedad Villa Juárez F2009 fue desarrollada en el campo experimental Norman E. Borlaug, en un proyecto colaborativo entre INIFAP y CIMMYT, para las áreas productoras de los estados de Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California Sur y Baja California en México. Su pedigrí es WBLL1 *2/BRAMBLING, y su historial de selección CGSS01B00062T-099Y-099M-099M-099Y-099M-12Y-0B. Villa Juárez F2009 cuenta con el registro TRI-122-100910 del Catálogo Nacional de Variedades Vegetales del Servicio Nacional de Inspección y Certificación de Semillas. Ésta variedad es de hábito de crecimiento primaveral y resistente a la roya de la hoja (Puccinia triticina), con rendimiento experimental promedio de grano de 5.9 t ha-1 con tres riegos de auxilio, en cuatro fechas de siembra, y de 7.4 t ha-1 con cuatro riegos de auxilio, en cuatro fechas de siembra. En parcelas con agricultores cooperantes del sur de Sonora, Villa Juárez F2009 promedió 7.4 t ha-1 en el ciclo agrícola 2009- 2010, por lo que representa una nueva opción de trigo harinero para los agricultores del noroeste del país |
| Resumen en inglés | The variety Villa Juárez F2009 was developed in the Norman E. Borlaug Experiment Station, through a collaborative project between the National Research Institute for Fore stry, Agriculture and Livestock (INIFAP) and the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) for the producing-areas of the States of Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California Sur and Baja California in Mexico. Its pedigree is WBLL1*2/BRAMBLING, and its history of selection CGSS01B00062T-099Y-099M-099M-099Y-099M-12Y-0B. Villa Juárez F2009 has the record TRI-122-100910 of the National Catalogue of Plant Varieties of the National Seed Inspection and Certification. This variety is of spring growth habit and resistant to the leaf rust (Puccinia triticina), with average experimental yield of 5.9 t ha-1 with three irrigations in four planting dates, and 7.4 t ha-1 with four irrigations in four planting dates. In plots with farmer cooperators in southern Sonora, Villa Juárez F2009 averaged 7.4 t ha-1 in the agricultural cycle from 2009 to 2010, representing a new option for crystalline wheat farmers in the northwest |
