Resumen en inglés | Neuromyelitis optica (NMO), myasthenia gravis (MG), and ulcerative colitis (UC) are disorders in which various autoimmune pathophysiological mechanisms are involved, some of them being shared. According to the literature, these diseases are associated with other autoimmune disorders. However, there are no published cases about the coexistence of these three entities as a continuum of autoimmune manifestations. Here, we present the case of a patient who presented UC posteriorly, MG treated with thymectomy, and finally, met the criteria for NMO, treated with rituximab. |
