Resumen en inglés Biliary ileus is an uncommon cause of intestinal occlusion caused by the impaction of a biliary stone in the gastrointestinal tract. We present the case of a 69-year-old female with no comorbidities, with abdominal pain, constipation and vomiting of 6 days of evolution. Physical examination showed abdominal distension and diffuse abdominal pain on palpation. No laboratory alterations, except for elevated creatinine. A CT scan showed a hyperdense image in the intestine. An exploratory laparotomy and enterolithotomy were performed confirming suspected diagnosis of biliary ileus.
