| Resumen en inglés | This article discusses the fundamental milestones in the life of Joaquín V. González, regarding the hundredth anniversary of his death. After a brief biographical review, the article focuses on the contribution that this notable man has made to Argentine constitutional law, in particular, to constitutional case law. In order to pursue this challenge, this article will analyse different court decisions in which, throughout its 160 years of history, the Supreme Court of Justice has cited Joaquín V. González as a lighthouse over conflict. |
| Resumen en español | Este trabajo se refiere a los hitos fundamentales de la vida de Joaquín V. González, a propósito del centésimo aniversario de su muerte. Luego de una breve reseña biográfica, el artículo se focaliza en el aporte que ha hecho este ilustre hombre al derecho constitucional argentino y, en particular, a la jurisprudencia constitucional. Para ello, se analizarán las sentencias en las que, a lo largo de sus 160 años de historia, la Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Nación ha citado a Joaquín V. González como faro de sus importantes decisiones. |
